Digital QUILTING

One rate for all digital edge-to-edge quilting designs.

Basic Fee

I charge $0.03 cents per square inch for all digital edge-to-edge designs.

To estimate the cost of the quilting service, multiply the width by the length of the quilt in inches.

Example: A 60 inch x 80 inch quilt.

60 X 80 = 4,800

4800 X $0.03 = $144 basic charge.

Bobbin Fee

In addition to the basic charge, I charge $2.00 per bobbin used. I use Hab + Dash Magna Glide bobbins, which are tightly wound.

Designs that quilt more densely will use more bobbins. A densely quilted throw (ca. 60x60) generally takes 2 bobbins; a more widely quilted throw (ca. 60x60) generally takes 1.25 bobbins.

Sales Tax

In Virginia, services provided, including quilting, are taxable at 6%.
